Ryan Motes
Currently makes his home in Weatherford, TX with his wife, Courtney.
His father, David, won the team roping world championship in 1977 with his brother, Dennis, and qualified for the NFR 16 times between 1974 and 2000. Ryan competed with his dad in 2001-2002 and they won five titles.
In the offseason, helps run the family ranch and mare breeding program. He also gives roping lessons and trains horses.
In 2008 Ryan will partner with Luke Brown.
