Sweet iron helps horse salivate, making the bit comfortable and helps the horse relax. Combination of tapered shape and mullen relief, curvature of the mouthpiece around the tongue, releases tongue from pressure when the tongue and reins are relaxed.

3/8” diameter mouth is small for enough feel. Sleeve with which the mouthpiece is set on the rings prevents pinching of the lips.
