Harmon Equine recommended I try the Cobalt, made the switch and not going back! I find this rope holds up extremely well in the southern humidity too!
These cobalts are great feeling and they last longer than anything.
I’m restarting my roping after almost 20 years and was struggling with my old favorite brand. I talked to an old friend and pro roper about the trouble I was having. He recommended to try the Cobalt and the Natural head ropes. I ordered one of each and they have both become my favorite with the Cobalt having a slight edge. Both models feel great in soft, feed easy and don’t run too fast. The Cobalt closes a lot faster when I pull my slack which I really like. I’ve ordered more to keep a fresh one around all the time.
